Steve had a great time speaking at the Creative Networks event at Leeds College of Art last night. It was the event’s fourth birthday and Steve was even given a special Edge Design cake handmade by photographer friend Tracey Welch. He met loads of fantastic people and was sad to leave the city this morning!

Steve spoke at the New London Architecture event at Rich Mix on Tuesday about the history and future of Shoreditch. The event was a great success and Steve was on a fantastic panel alongside Andrew Hilston, Peter Bennett, Tim Gledstone and Steve Oakes.
Steve discussed the area’s need to keep the dodgy bars and quirky independent boutiques, not just the shiny new buildings. He knows that we have to embrace change but we need to do it carefully or we’ll destroy the very things that everyone loves about Shoreditch. As Steve says, don’t kill the goose!

Steve is the auctioneer for the fourth year running at the Sir John Cass Fine Art Degree Show Fundraiser Auction tonight. Held at the Central House campus of London Metropolitan University, the fundraiser aims to raise money for the printing of catalogues and to supply wine for the end of year degree show. This year the event is extra special for Steve as it is his daughter Milly’s end of year show, the last before she heads off into the big wide creative world!

Steve had a fantastic time judging the branding category at the D&AD Awards at Kensington Olympia! He saw some exceptional work and really enjoyed being part of a fantastic judging jury! Read more about the awards and watch the results here.
